All
my friends admired my new 'outfit' and I got lots of comments
on the pretty, decorative beadwork! To be honest, I think a
few were just a tad bit jealous - can't say as I blame
them. Heck, even when we went for walks in my favourite Park,
dogs I had never met before wanted to know where I got my beautiful
leash and collar, and they were very impressed when I
told them my Human (Liz) hand-made them especially for me! I
think they were a little disappointed too that they weren't
from a store they could drag.... excuse me, lead their
humans to so they could get their own!
Now, by nature, I am a very caring and sharing kind of pup,
and I really wanted all my friends to feel special too! It took
some doing, but I finally convinced Liz that she should work
her magic for others as well. At first she didn't understand
(humans can be a little slow sometimes) when my friends were
visiting and I would drop my leash at their feet and they would
take it to their human (who was also visiting) to see.
Liz thought I was just 'showing off', but when her human friends
asked about the leashes and collars, she realized what was wanted,
and voila - our business was born! (I'm such a
good PR pooch!)
Now,
you are probably wondering why I am so excited about my hemp
collar and leash (other than the beautiful beads and decorations,
which just enhance my natural good looks). You can read more
in depth about hemp's qualities in the 'Why
Hemp' section, but for me personally, it's simple really
- it's waaay more comfortable and never irritates my sensitive
skin! (A girl's got to be careful, you know.) Not only that,
but hemp is very strong and durable, and lasts a really long
time (making it economical). Plus, and it's a very BIG Plus,
it is much more environmentally friendly, and I like that.
The other thing that I really like is that it is so versatile.
Did you know that my Liz made herself a choker and a
bracelet to look like my collar and leash? Now we
match! How about that for being totally awesome. Needless
to say, that also means she can do the same for you and your
pet!
Enough
said - now I am going to leave the rest of this site in Liz's
hands (well, most of it anyway!) Just click on the links to
the left and enjoy the site - I'm sure you'll find something
to your liking, for both you and your best friend!
